Acer davidii ‘George Forrest’ - “Snakebark Maple”
Small. Attractive striated green and white bark. Open tree of loose habit with vigorous spreading branches. Dark green leaves with rhubarb-red stalks. Autumn colour yellow-orange. An excellent snakebark. The "Snakebark Maples" are known because of their conspicuously striped bark and include A. dvidii, A. capillipes and A. rufinerve.
