Sorbus intermedia - “Swedish Whitebeam” (Aria Section)
Medium. Dense rounded head.
Leaves dark green above, grey beneath, ovate to broad elliptical, lobed in lower half, coarsely toothed above, white flowers in the spring. Fruits 12mm across, orange-red in bunches. Good for coastal situations. Much underrated and should be specified more widely.
